Therapy is a challenging process, both psychologically and financially. People who seek out psychotherapists often place their trust in a stranger with the most sensitive aspects of their lives. Additionally, it can be very difficult to navigate various psychological methods such as CBT therapy, psychoanalysis, psychodynamic therapy, EFT, and others.
Therefore, I offer a free 25-minute online consultation to briefly describe the current situation. Based on this, specific recommendations will be provided on whether therapy is suitable and, if so, what to expect and which type might be the most appropriate. The goal is to give clear recommendations without any obligation to continue therapy with me. However, if there is interest in further sessions, this option is available.
After booking (usually within 24 hours), a Google Meet link will be sent for connecting at the time of the consultation. There is no need to download anything - just have a camera and a working microphone on a mobile phone, tablet, or laptop. It's best to find a place where it feels safe and private. FAQ
-
The initial meeting is an opportunity to discuss your expectations, needs, and goals. During the first session, we will decide whether continuing therapy is the right path and what results can be expected. If we agree on a vision for our cooperation, we will schedule a few more sessions (typically 3 - 5), after which we usually arrange the terms of longer-term therapy with clients.

CBT is a highly effective psychotherapy method for a variety of issues, supported by extensive research. It focuses on changing unhelpful thoughts and behaviors to improve emotional regulation and develop coping strategies. In my practice, I blend CBT with other therapeutic techniques, creating a personalized approach for each individual. This method ensures a comprehensive treatment plan, addressing psychological issues by combining CBT's structured approach with adaptable methods to meet each person's unique needs and goals, backed by its proven effectiveness in many areas of mental health.
-
The length of therapy and session frequency are tailored to each client's needs, goals, and circumstances. Research suggests that the ideal frequency is once a week, with a minimum of twice a month. These aspects are agreed upon between the client and the psychologist.

While I do offer online sessions, I highly recommend starting our therapeutic journey with in-person meetings. This initial face-to-face interaction helps establish a stronger therapeutic connection and understanding. As we progress and establish a foundation of trust and rapport, transitioning to online sessions becomes a viable option, providing flexibility and continuity in your care.
